Asda to Sell Bargain School Uniform

Supermarket giant Asda has kicked off the schoolwear price-war with a £4.75 uniform for children aged between 3 and 16.
The uniform ,which consists of 100% cotton polo shirt or easy-iron shirt, a 100% cotton sweatshirt and Teflon-coated trousers, will be the same price regardless of age or size. The retailer claims that the same uniform for a 16 year-old at rival Tesco would cost £15.25 and at Marks & Spencer £21.50.
Anthony Thompson, managing director at Asda’s clothing line George, said; "Every child in this country needs a school uniform and they deserve the best quality it can be […]You don't pay more for bigger adults clothing, you don't even pay more for larger sized bras anymore. So it is simple customers should not pay more for compulsory school clothes."
The bargain uniforms will be available online and in stores for 10 days only.
